What Time Is Check-In? What About Checkout?
Check-in time begins at 3:00p.m. EST. Checkout is at 11:00a.m.
What Is Your Cancelation Policy?
A deposit equal to one night's stay is required to book your reservation. If you choose to cancel, your deposit will be refunded, less a $25 processing fee, so long as your cancelation is received at least two weeks prior to arrival. If your cancelation is received less than two weeks prior to arrival, your deposit will be forfeited in its entirety unless your reservation is rebooked for a later date. If you choose to rebook your lodging for a later date, a $25 processing fee will apply.
What Taxes and Fees Will My Reservation Be Subject To?
A $25 per night resort fee will apply to all reservations at Purity Spring Resort. This fee helps us maintain our outstanding amenities and outdoor spaces all year long. All room rates are also subject to an 8.5% NH Room & Meals Tax.
What Forms of Payment Do You Accept?
We accept all major credit cards, personal checks and cash.
What Is Your Smoking Policy?
All accommodations and buildings at Purity Spring Resort are non-smoking. This includes the prohibition of juuling, vaping and use of e-cigarettes. All indoor spaces at the resort, ski area and Tohko—including guestrooms, common areas and The Inn's porch—are smoke-free. Outdoor smoking is permitted in designated locations only. Any violation of our no-smoking policy may result in a fine of up to $250.
Can I Bring My Dog With Me to Purity Spring Resort?
Purity Spring Resort offers a number of dog-friendly accommodations, including select guestrooms at King Pine Lodge and the Island View condos. If you choose to bring your four-legged friends, an additional $25 per night per dog fee will be applied to your reservation (limit 2 dogs/unit). If one of our dog-friendly units is not available, we do not extend our pet policy to other units. Please note that a $250 fine will be charged to guests who bring dogs into non-dog-friendly units and that additional fees may apply if deep cleaning or repairs are required.
We ask that pet owners keep their dogs off all furniture and that dogs who may damage or soil the unit when left alone be crated when they’re not accompanied by their owners. (We do not supply crates, so please bring your own.) Additionally, if your dog is a talker, is not house-trained or displays aggressive behavior, please leave them at home. If your dog is found to be disruptive, aggressive, barking, whining or causing damage, we will ask you to find alternate accommodations for your dog. (We’re happy to suggest a number of local kennels.) Please be aware that any damage caused by your dog will result in a fine of $250, plus additional fees for all repairs.
While your dog is welcome to stay with you in your room, for the safety and comfort of others, we do not allow dogs in certain areas of the resort. Below is a guide to the dog-friendly areas of Purity Spring.
Buildings: Your dog is only allowed in your room and hallways which access your room. Dogs are not allowed in any common areas, including lodging buildings and The Mill’s Main Office area.
Dog Path: We have a designated walking path for you to use with your dog. The path is located off the south corner of the upper King Pine parking lot and continues toward the ball field (summer) or tubing park (winter). The path has waste bags available and a trash receptacle near the parking area. Please be courteous and pick up after your dog.
Leashes: Dogs must be on a leash anytime they are out of your room, including walking to and from your room and on the dog path. If your dog is able to follow voice commands, you may play unleashed at the Milt’s Place Beach. However, please be aware that the town of Madison has a leash ordinance.
Beaches: Dogs are always allowed at Milt’s Place Beach and, on a limited basis, at Sunset Beach too. Dogs are not allowed at Purity Island Beach or King Pine Beach. Please be courteous and do not bring your dog to Sunset Beach when there are a lot of swimmers or during waterskiing program times.
Trails: Purity Spring Resort has beautiful trails for canines of all ages and abilities. Whether you hike up to Bald Ledge or meander on the trails along the east side of Purity Lake, there is something for everyone. Feel free to call the Main Office for recommendations on the trails which best suit your excursion.
Are There Any Local Pet Stores That Offer Discounts for Purity Spring Guests?

How Do I Access the Complementary Wi-Fi?
Please contact the front desk for instruction or refer to your check-in card for network information and password.
We also offer a printer, and complementary direct Ethernet Internet access using the computer in The Mill common room.
How Do I Access Cable Channels on My TV?
Please contact the front desk for assistance in the event your TV is not displaying channels.
Why Don’t I Have Cell Service?
Cell service is spotty due to our location. We have installed boosters, but if you’re having difficulty with service, please inquire at the Main Office for stronger service locations.
How Do I Place a Room-to-Room Call?
To reach an in-house guest, dial the 3-digit room number or Ext x0 to reach the Main Office. We do not disclose guests’ room numbers, but we are happy to transfer your call.
How Do I Place a Local or Long-Distance Call?
Dial direct. All local and long-distance calls are complimentary at Purity Springs Resort.
How Do I Reach the Main Office?
Dial Ext 0 from your in-room phone. Or dial 603.367.8896 from an outside line. Office hours are currently 8 a.m.-8 p.m. daily.
How Do I Access My Room Phone’s Voicemail?
If you have a message waiting in your guestroom voicemail box, the message light on your phone will be lit. Dial 999, and follow the voice prompts.
Can I Get a Wakeup Call?
Yes! Upon arrival, dial 800 from your in-room phone, and follow the voice prompts.
When Are Your Quiet Hours?
Quiet hours at Purity Spring Resort are 10:00p.m.–8:00a.m. Please be courteous to other guests around you. Profanity or violence towards others will not be tolerated. And loud, objectionable noise is not allowed at any time. Inconsiderate guests will be asked to leave.
Do You Have a Gift Shop?
Yes! Our gift shop is located inside The Mill and open during regular office hours.
Do You Offer Massage Services?
We do not have massage therapists on staff at Purity Spring Resort. However, if you contact our Main Office, we’ll be happy to recommend some thoroughly relaxing local massage therapy options.
Do You Have On-Site Laundry Rooms?
Washers and dryers that accept credit card and digital payment are available at The Loft (summer season only) and the Fireplace Room at King Pine (winter season only). For directions to either location, please refer to a resort map or call the Main Office.
Do You Offer Pack ‘N Plays?
A limited number of Pack 'n Plays are available on a first-come, first-served basis for an additional fee of $15 per day. Please contact the Front Desk to reserve a Pack n' Play at least 24 hours prior to your arrival.
What Do I Do If I Lost an Item or Found One That Doesn’t Belong to Me?
Management suggests keeping your valuables locked up. Please report any lost or found items to the Main Office immediately by calling Ext x0 from your in-room phone.
Are There Housekeeping Services?
Daily service will provide towels as necessary and empty trash. If you should be needing anything during your stay, please contact the Main Office at ext. 0.
Where Are the Ice Machines Located?
Ice machines are located at The Mill, on the 2nd floor of The Inn, The Loft (summer season only), and the Fireplace Room at King Pine.
Do You Have an Auto External Defibrillator?
Purity Spring Resort has an AED (Auto External Defibrillator) device located at The Mill’s Main Office in the front of the building to the right. Please follow the AED instructions and alert the Main Office in the case of a cardiac arrest emergency.
What Do I Do in Case of Fire?
Please refer to the back of your guestroom door to locate fire exits and stairways, alarm pull stations and fire extinguishers.
How Do I Contact the Police, Fire Department or an Ambulance?

Do I Have to Be a Resident of New Hampshire to Get Married in the State?
You do not need to be a resident of NH in order to be legally married in NH.* A marriage application may be filed for in any town or city within the state of New Hampshire.
*No marriage by parties residing outside of NH shall be construed as legal if the jurisdiction they live in would interpret such a marriage as null and void. This also applies to residents of NH if they are married outside of NH jurisdiction and NH would interpret the marriage as null and void.
It is not legal in the state of NH to marry your first cousin or anyone in closer kinship to you. It is not legal to be married in the state of NH if you are under the age of 18. Exceptions are made if you are a female between the ages of 13 and 17 or a male between the ages of 14 and 17 and have obtained parental permission and a waiver from a superior court or probate court judge.
What Documents Are Required for a Marriage License?
Both applicants will need to supply proof of age. If any applicant has been previously married they will need to supply a certified copy of a death certificate of former spouse, divorce decree from former spouse or annulment decree from former spouse.
What is the License Validity Period?
The marriage license will be valid for 90 days from the date of issue. It is not valid until 3 days after it has been issued.
Where Do I Need to File for Marriage?
Any couple wishing to marry in NH must appear together at the town/city clerk's office as both signatures are required. Call your clerk's office for exceptions for military personnel unable to appear in person. All couples will be required to pay a marriage license fee.
Where Will I Receive my Marriage Certificate?
You can obtain your certified copy of the Marriage Certificate from the town/city clerk's office where you filed for your license after the officiant has completed and returned the marriage certificate to the clerk. This will take approximately two weeks. Additional copies can also be obtained for a small fee.
