Make plans now to bring your group of friends to one of our fun and exciting scrapbooking weekends!
Check in anytime after 3 PM on Friday and kick the weekend off with dinner, followed by our scrapbooking welcome reception. You can meet some of the other scrapbookers, catch up with old friends and set up your "office" with supplies and photographs. There will also be a vendor fair with all the latest tools, paper and scrapbooking supplies. A full schedule of workshops begins on Friday. Don’t forget to listen up for our great door prize drawings & contests taking place throughout the weekend!
For Thursday arrivals, you can check in at 3PM, get your station set up and begin cropping! Thursday arrivals also receive a Taco Bar dinner & Make your own sundae, with breakfast and lunch on Friday and a full day of cropping.
Wake up Saturday morning to a hearty country breakfast in our dining room overlooking Purity Lake.
You can crop till the early morning hours before catching a few minutes of sleep... then crop all the next day! We’ll have chair massage on site to soothe those tired cropping muscles, and full body massage is available at our historic Spring House.

Friday, September 16
2:00 PM Close To My Heart Flippin' Out Over New Flaps!
Class Fee: $10.00 –1 ½ hours
This class will teach you how to complete a one page layout (your own finished design) and add more photos ON TOP using our *new* 6 x 12 Flip Flap. You will be inspired and EXCITED to learn how to use these fabulous FLIP FLAPS that now come in 4 sizes: 4 x 12; 6 x 12; 8 x 12 and 4 x 6. You Will never worry about what to do with all those extra photos again for your layout. Please bring extra cardstock, pattern paper, photos and basic tools.
Please bring: 12x12 paper trimmer, scissors, adhesive, cardstock, patterned paper, photos and ONE completed page of your design.
4:00 PM Scrappin' Soul Sisters Mini Acrylic & Chipboard Album
Class Fee: $25.00 –1 ½ hours
Join Deb as she instructs you on assembling this colorful mini album using acrylic, chipboard, 3D embellishments, ribbon, ink and papers. Transparent pages makes scrapbooking fun and allow you to view multiple pages at a time.
Please bring: 12 inch trimmer, scissors, adhesive, ruler, pencil, blue cats eye inks or ink pads, glue dots, red line adhesive tape, eyelet setter.
Saturday, September 17th
9:30 AM Creative Memories Versatile 12 x 12 Layout
Class Fee: $8.00 – 1 hour
Complete a 12 x 12 layout using the Jumbo Square Template and the new embossing star punch. You will be provided with paper and card stock for your page. Please bring adhesive, and if you have the jumbo square cutting template, matt and blades that would be great otherwise we will have it for you to share as well as the new star embossing punch. You will learn tips, tricks and other uses for the large Square Cutting template and the new embossing star punch.
10:30 AM Scrappin' Soul Sisters White Parchment Paper Technique Class
Class Fee: $25.00 1 ½ hours
This class will demonstrate techniques that are both beautiful and elegant using parchment paper. Parchment paper is a transparent paper suitable for perforating and embossing. This class also provides you with a few of the basic tools for creation of other projects on your own. If you have these tools, please bring them to the class. If not, we will have some available for you to share. Pergamano Embossing Pad, Pergamano Perforating Mat, Embossing Hockey Stick Tool, Embossing.
1:30 PM Close To My Heart A Box of Cherry O
Class Fee: $12.00 –1 ½ hours
This adorable box can hold your handmade cards, any of your 4x6 photos, or Recipes cards (we do have a kit to match so you can ask me all about it). A regular size card is included for you to create as well to use for yourself or as a gift for a friend. The box has a magnetic closure, is extremely sturdy and well made. You’ll see the endless possibilities and once you have the template, you can buy more boxes to create more gifts! Class includes: Box, 2 sheets of pattern paper, 1 card and envelope, cutting guide.
Please bring: 12x12 paper trimmer, scissors, adhesive, sponge and chocolate ink.
3:15 PM Creative Memories Bold Borders!
Class Fee: $12.00 –1 hour
You will create 6 exciting borders that are customizable to your needs. Paper, embellishments, and titles will be included. Please bring your cutter, adhesive, ruler, corner rounder, black pen, scissors and Large oval template, matt and blades.
Throughout the weekend, mini classes and workshops on various tips and techniques will be held by all three vendors. Please keep an eye on the white board located at the door to the Evergreen Room for positing of times.
Julie Biehl of Julie's Imprinting will be with us again. Imprinting is a great way to enhance your album covers, backs and spines with text and graphics. Her website contains helpful information on available fonts, graphic designs, foil colors, pricing and imprinted samples. Check out the website prior to the event so that you can decide what albums to bring with you to be imprinted while you crop. Remember ~ you only need to bring the parts of your album(s) that you would like to have imprinted. Need an album?
